Today I calculated that Olympia has about 310 days every year where the sky is either completely, mostly, or partly cloudy. Most of those days are completely cloudy. That means that it is cloudy here 85% of the year.
85%.
That's a lot more than 75%.

Having grown up on the NW coast (The beach was literally a five minute walk from my back door.), I have the opposite reaction to our cloudy skies. Just as mid-July rolls around my friend, Katie, and I start staring balefully up at the unrelenting blue sky and muttering about the sun being oppressive. Give me showers, wind and clouds any day.
Sounds like you could use some good old fashioned vitamin D.
